Wipe Out

Today is one of those days that I am just totally wiped out---emotionally. It was a tough weekend with the kids. On top of that the house is a mess. I am still trying to figure out what curriculum to use next year. We haven't done a lick of school in weeks (we needed to do some schooling through the summer to make up for stuff not done during the year). I don't feel like doing much of anything today. So all this piled on top of each other makes me pretty much feel like a failure in all I do. Have you ever felt that way? Please, if you think of it today, say a prayer for me. Thanks.

I WILL pray for you!
Even thoug I'm not a mother :) I know how depressing it can be to have too many unproductive days in a row.
Every year we set goals of getting school stuff done in the summer that was left out, and it never really seems to work.
Keep at it and try to look on the positive side of things...today the sun is shining brightly and you have the health to enjoy it!!!

Remember, everything has a purpose, this could be a test of patience...try to pass it! :)

Here's one of my favorite quotes of William Wordsworth "That best portion of a man's life is his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love." ...not in how much schoolwork gets done. :)

Don't give up. Focus on having a positive attitude and thus makig a difference in your environment!

Love ya!

Praying!!!

Yes! I feel this way often! We mothers wear many hats and our children need us constantly~ physically, and emotionally. Plus their is the constant preparing of breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks, doing dishes, sweeping floors, wiping bottoms, washing, folding, and putting away laundry, grocery shopping, organizing all of the paper work that appears in our home, reading stories to our little ones, answering questions, finding 'lost'items, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and the list goes on....It is very NORMAL to feel wiped out. I once wrote a post titled 'Super Triathlete Moms' if you have a moment you can pop over to my blog and locate it under the 'categories' section.
Hope you are feeling better....sometimes when I feel this way it means I need some extra rest and CHOCOLATE!
